In Pune, HDFC Securities is making stock market access easy and secure for tech-savvy investors who love trading on their phones. They’ve teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS), the top cloud provider in India, to create HDFC SKY, a mobile trading app. This app, built on AWS, allows thousands of transactions per second, giving investors a smooth experience. By choosing AWS, HDFC Securities is cutting its annual IT costs by up to half compared to using traditional infrastructure.

Recently, HDFC Securities, a major investment services provider in India, launched HDFC SKY on AWS. This app caters to 75 million customers globally, providing a user-friendly platform for trading shares, commodities, and more. HDFC SKY uses a straightforward pricing system, charging a fixed fee regardless of how much money or how many transactions users make.

Sandeep Bhardwaj, Chief Operating and Digital Officer at HDFC Securities, credits AWS for fostering a culture of innovation within the company. AWS has allowed them to experiment quickly and at a lower cost, driving innovation for their customers.

Looking ahead, HDFC Securities aims to enhance customer experiences using machine learning on AWS. This means more personalized and tailored services for users.
